A Venue Change for Education

The blogging world has taken me by storm. Since attaining my English degree over 7 years ago, I have used it very little outside of my profession. I used to write quite a bit and enjoyed it while in school. Since then I have not exercised my writing muscles.... Until this past month. I started a blog: www.teachtravelandphotography.com thinking that I would write a post a week about all things travel, photography, and I threw teaching in there as well. Since starting, I have found that I quite enjoy writing these posts, ans surprisingly I enjoy writing about my day job as a high school English teacher.

The more I write about education, practice and policies, the more I'm interested in the topic. To be fair to my readers on my other website I am transferring my posts pertaining education to this site. I realize that some of my readers who are interested in best places to travel in Canada" articles will not be enthusiastic about reading about assessment, unit ideas, and education pedagogy.

Welcome new and old readers. Please post ideas and share comments if you find anything relevant to your classroom.
